Technically as Business or First on your entire International journey you have access to any AC on your routing. You are supposed to be given two drink chits but many clubs will give you one .. then if you want/need a second you have to ask.

Soda is free but you do have to ask at the bar.

In most cases, I tip $1 for a soda or for a chit-based drink ..

Your LAX-ORD-DEL trip would be classed as International Business (domestic only in First sans transcon with specific fare basis) do not gain access to the AC. But it sounds like you are a member already so the international nature of your trip will get you the chits.

Seeing that you are GLD .. maybe you need to try for EXP then you get Flagship (ok only 3 in the system) as well as other perks from OneWorld on international journeys.
