If such measures come to Canada, it will not be a good thing and will do nothing positive for security. That said, the current aviation security changes are knee-jerk ones.
I disagree with your first statement and agree with your second one.
Good profiling, whether racial or otherwise is the best way to actually have some secruity. The current kneejerk, take your shoes off, ect stuff is crap.
The
fact is any determined party , that can keep its mouth closed, can take down any airplane they want.
Profiling is the only real solution.
