Varig is in major restructuring

TWA was aquired by AA in 2001

Hooters Air is dead http://www.hootersair.com/

Trans Meridian Airlines is dead http://www.tmair.com/

Hawaiian Airlines was in and out of BK

Vanguard is dead http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanguard_Airlines

Sun County died, and other than keeping the name the new airline was not successfully turned around in BK http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Country_Airlines

Midway was already in BK on 9/11/01, and ceased operations by July of 2002 http://www.ruudleeuw.com/rem-midway2.htm
