Why was US among the last major airlines to post a statement today?

While the news all day long has been a steady stream of nothing but airport info and warnings for domestic and international travel, US just within the past 120 minutes posted a link through to the TSA website with the generic information about no liquids.

Many hours previous, other domestic majors (UA, AA, NW were ones I checked) had all implemented their own statements and also issued airline-specific guidance and helpful info. US has still not done any of the latter.

My question is this: why was US so far behind virtually every other major US carrier with posting some sort of notice on their homepage? I know there are plenty of folks out there who work a full day with little, if any, access to the web all day long and no access to TV news. None of this info was in this morning's newspaper, of course, since it all occurred too late to be in the morning US editions on the east coast.

Can we assume that with the new shift to a desert headquarters in AZ, newsflash goodies such as these will always be delayed by several hours until the PHX crew reports for work? I hope US has a better plan next time around.
