I just sent my US passport in for renewal on Monday. Today when I woke up I saw an email from my boss saying I was needed in AKL in a couple of weeks. And of course when I renewed the passport, via US Mail, I didn't ask for the expedited service.

Does anyone have any experience changing from "normal renewal" to "expedited renewal"? Is this even possible?
