[QUOTE=spurg]LIKE most business travelers, I love getting things free.
Occasionally, “free” gets me into trouble, though. A few months ago, I struck up a conversation with a well-dressed gentleman at Cucina Dell’Arte, a bar in Palm Beach, Fla. I shared with him a secret for getting into the all-inclusive Club Med resort in the Turks and Caicos called Turkoise.

“You scale the wall like a ninja,” I explained. “And then you persuade a departing tourist to give you a wristband. And voila — free drinks!”

There is a bit of difference between getting comped or getting discounted rates by bartering or being a frequent flyer, and ripping off hotels. This person is a thief.
