Not quite the same thing, but I was on holiday at the begiining of last month and from 11 days total "holiday" I ended up with 8 days work to complete. If the Meridien Baan Taaling Ngam in Koh Samui had a decent internet connection, I probably would have ended up working all 11 days plus some weekend time too

On the plus side since I work for myself I could bill the client for this time, on the downside approximately £8k of holiday costs did not yield the expected rest and relaxation
