If you fly frequently and get to know your hometown CRC crew, I can see no ID at all being requested.

In SLC I am rarely asked to show anything, a smile and wave is all - but I do know most of the people in that CRC and they know me.

In all other CRC's, showing the BC should suffice as the membership/medaillion status is clearly printed on it.

I believe I heard somebody say that they stopped checking ID when Delta got convinced that the probability of a non-member being able to get their hands on, and show a CRC member BC when entering, is dismal.

(And by the way, did I ever apprteciate the FC/Medaillion/CRC security line in FLL yesterday - the coach line was unbelievable long in both directions, with not a soul in front of me in the FC line).
