They check the boarding pass for the CRC status. But here is one way to get in without status:

Walk to the CRC front desk and ask for a cardboard box (or something they won't have). When they say no, act disappointed and ask them if they are sure. When they say no again, act even more disappointed and walk into the CRC.

The point being they have already inconvenienced you by not having a cardboard box and wouldn't want to bother you with an id check.
