Yes several years ago, and it was Hawaii

The only bright spot was the airline didnt charge for my late change of dates on a restricted ticket (bet that wouldn't happen now) AND my upgrade voucher cleared to give me my very first taste of longhaul business.

I've also had last minute cancellations of holidays
