My father had to attend an important meeting that was rescheduled to a time during the middle of one of his holidays. In the end my friend's 18yr sister attended, a fair swap in my opinion, especially since I was about 14 at the time

TBH I don't think my Dad really wanted to go skiing anyway and didn't mind not going, and for those who have met him, you'll know why FWIW, the company then gave him a bonus week off to make up for the inconvenience and paid for his trip to be refunded ^ (even though we got someone else to come along )
