I couldn't get the award routing to pull up correctly doing an online award so I was forced to call SMS. They got the routing correct and I wanted to verify my hotel etc so I just placed the itenirary on hold.

I then pulled this itenirary up online with the confrimation number online and it allowed me to redeem the award and it was only the standard $5 - not the $15 SMS wanted over the phone.

Has anyone else noticed this "work around" or am I just behind the times?
