Following what Goingaway suggested, if I wanted to get the most out of my award ticket and try to squeeze in both Rome and Paris

Example SFO-MUC-FCO(stay couple days)-CDG, CDG-FRA-SFO

This, I would have to do piecewise correct. I would imagin ANA will not show any routing option for this? Is there a requirement that one generally routes toward a final destination (no sure if Rome and Paris will qualify)?
