Unless you are looking for taking pictures, Emirates' (I believe) old and new system all feature the nose view and birdeye view in the personal television system. You can switch it on and get a nice outside view, then you can stick with an aisle seat.

EK Y is fine, but the seat is a bit narrow, nevertheless... still have a decent pitch.
