Hello all!

I've browsed these boards before but just took the plunge and got myself a username. I was hoping for some advice regarding an upcoming trip with Emirates.

I'll be flying in Y from BNE-[SIN]-DXB-CDG and return. All of my flights from Brisbane to Paris will be on 777-300 aircraft (of course not ER's ) and on the way home I have an A330-200 from CDG-DXB, 773's back to BNE.

First off, can anyone suggest seats for me? I am a flying nut and this will be my first trip on a 777, but I also realize that the flights from BNE-DXB will be at night. I usually like the window, but there won't be a whole lot to see. I'm perfectly willing to take a D or G seat if it makes the flight more comfortable (fewer people to climb over or to climb over me to get to the lav etc.)

Secondly, how good (or bad) is the standard Emirates IFE. I realize that I won't be getting the ICE system or the mood lighting on any of my 22 hours of flying (my god.)

Finally, related to seating, I have the ability to request a seat in row 15 (the bulkhead) but the people at Emirates have told me that I could possibly get bumped by families traveling with babies. What is the actual position of the bassinet? Seatguru says it's in the center set of seats, but Emirates seems to indicate that there are 3 (one on each bulkhead wall.) Also, how likely is it that I would get reseated?
