The standby list is not posted for everyone to see. You're best bet is to check-in as soon as that 23:59 mark hits so you can be the top of the SE list. NW does their day of departure UG's based on status with NW Plats/companions then, CO Plats/Companions, NW Golds/Companions, CO Golds/Companions, NW Silvers, then CO Silvers, then non-revs (although sometimes non-revs beat out the Plats). It never hurts to stop by at the gate to check, but don't badger the GA's. Just stop by to confirm that you're on the list. They'll clear the list usually 30-15 minutes before departure, right before they start boarding.
