Short answer: I prefer not to fly them, if I can avoid it.
Long Answer: Based solely on my personal experience with MIA-SJO-MIA and the AB6, the chances of a mechanical departure delay are about 80%. As far as not getting on one because of design flaws, as another poster stated earlier, I'm more likely to get killed crossing the street or driving to the airport.
