We ordered two appetizers (soft shell crab and crab cake) and two entrees (salmon and short ribs) plus arucola salad for a side dish. The total, with four glasses of wine was $121.00 (before tip).

The service was excellent, the food was good but not exceptional. Mr. Marlin said the wine list was great and so was the wine.

Our server told us that everything is served "family style" and that we should share everything. Well, that is odd becuase the portions are small. They do give you tongs with everything and the food comes on small silver trays.

We are not huge eaters and we actually left a little hungry. I think we should have ordered dessert. The desserts looked wonderful-hand cranked ice cream, apple tarts, chocolate cake, goat cheese log etc.

The food is a little different. They are playing on the freshness and local of each item. The duck comes from such and such a farm in Wisconsin etc. I went to look at the kitchen-impressive. One chef told me that 60-70 percent of the food is cooked in the wood burning oven. The rest is prepared on specially made stoves from France.

We enjoyed it, had a nice evening but wouldn't rush back.

Thank you for the review. My wife and I are going there next week. Those small portions don't sound very good. We will definitely try the desserts!
