Lightbulb I don't think EWR instead of LGA is what OP had in mind

I think of LGA and EWR as the same city. Both are new york area airports.


Now this is a true story.
Back in the day when Writetorich was younger, lighter and dashing, I flirted with a senior GA personal who tried to allow my $300 EWR-LIS to a heck of a lot more than $300EWR-GIG Round trip. I would have flew to Rio right then and there.

She was unable to get rev mgt operstions in HOUSTON to allow the return ticketing. Amazingly enough they signed off on the few hour emminet deep south america flight

Ah the good old days pre 9 11
