Seems a little general, to me, as there are changes in times, days, destination, class, etc, and a $100 change fee does not apply in all cases. As far as cxling paid discounted fare tix, steep penalties are normal. If you know your fare class, you may be able to find the rules online, or post it here. HA has started charging $ for certain changes to paid advance resv's., and relaxes some of these fees with HA status, as an inducement to loyalty.
