The FBD at EDI is a zoo and to expect a Gold card member to wait 45 minutes is a disgrace. The reintroduction of a dedicated FBD line for OW elites would easily have avoided this. It was in place for the first month following the introduction of mandatory e-checkin. Beggars belief as to why BA saw fit to remove it.

As far as I'm aware, there are no OW flights ex EDI that offer business class. Both the Aer Lingus to Dublin and Finnair service to Helsinki are single class.
