A Golden Retriever sitting (in the seat) in an A320 PHX-DTW
I was traveling on Christmas day in 2001 and trying to get a companion upgrade for my son.

The last two seats in FC went to a blind pax and her service dog.

The dog (big Golden Retriever with a Michigan Collar) sat (like a statue) facing the partition in 1B for the entire 3-1/2 hour flight except when lunch was served, it turned around to see what 2B was eating!
