If so would they have tied her name with your name at the same original address, and then your same name with the new office address with your old address? In other words had they worked out that Raffles2 was the same person as Raffles1 - but decided to accept it?
I also wonder whether they work under a rule which says they never turn down a referrer.
I wasn't clear - I said my wife was given the certificate my a work colleague. It wouldn't have mattered if they'd asked her name or not. They never asked for the name of the work colleague.
They certainly don't seem to have worked out that 2 people with the same name can live within a mile of each other (but this is London). I kept my passport details out of my 2nd profile, and put a different credit card on file, just in case.
