You might wanna consider SIN-NRT and NRT-LAX if you have never been on the upper deck. Personally though, like TerryK, I would choose LAX-SIN simply because it's a longer flight. (Though the combined flight time of SIN-NRT and NRT-LAX is longer than LAX-SIN)
