Give me a few weeks, Ohmark--will get a detailed review of the JW Capri.

But here are a few more details that may help:

Most of the rooms in the hotel have a view over the ocean--ours did not, looking over a massive tree that obstructed the ocean view. Probably because we were using points (two rooms, 150K each). Even though I am MR Platinum, we did not receive any breakfast benefits because this is a resort property--but one of our two bedrooms was huge, with long passageway having tons of closet space and TWO bathrooms! And Internet access is free.

The pool is spectacular--1/3 outdoor, 2/3 indoor. I imagine it looks like a pool woud have looked in ancient Rome!

We never dined at the hotel, but the restaurants look excellent. There are lots of dining options on Capri--all expensive! For a family of four--we paid at least $120 a meal--or $220 if we all had fish. Things are cheaper if you go to Anacapri--just a $20 taxi ride or $2 on the bus that leaves every 15-20 minutes. Choosing restaurants does not matter--the food is amazing wherever you go!

All in all--just a spectacular week--my wife wanted to stay indefinitely.....
