Here is what I got from the hotel.

One of your first questions may be "what is Club 91?"
>
> Well, as you know, Cancun and the surrounding areas are rich in the
> Mayan heritage and just 3 hours away are the Chichen Itza ruins. The
> main pyramid located within these ruins is known as the "Castle" and
> each side originally had 91 steps. The platform at the top as a final
> step, means
>
> there are 365 in total; one for every day of the year. The "Castle"
> played an important part in the Mayan interests of astronomy as
> demonstrated at the spring and autumn equinox. On these days the
> shadow of the sun causes the illusion of a snake making its way down
> the stairs of
>
> the pyramid.

1.As a vegetarian, will there be much to choose from for Lunch and Dinner? Many times in a regular Marriott lounge, they don’t offer much for vegetarians.

2.Is there a dress code? Would it be inappropriate for me to get out of the pool and go up for lunch in a bathing suit and tee shirt? I don’t really want to change for lunch, and then change back to go back to the pool.

3.Free high speed internet. Is this in the room, like a regular Marriott, or is more like free use of the business center?

4.If I don’t join the club, do they charge extra to use the fitness center?

5.From reading other posts, last year they charged $80 per day, now its $120. Has the service improved since then?

6.As a Plat, do my chances of an upgrade diminish on the club floor? I would think so, with fewer rooms available to upgrade into.

7.What exactly does access to the 2nd floor spa give you access too?

Non related to the club:

1.If I bring my own drinks down to the pool or beach, will the staff harass me about that?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.
