Hi sbm12, Although from a pricing standpoint, most international connections within 24 hours are considered 'legal', such is not the case when it comes to through check-in. Our policy for transferring bags applies only for flight connections up to a maximum of 13 hours. Since your connection in NRT exceeds this limit, you'll only be allowed to check in bags from EWR to NRT. Your journey from NRT to ROR will require a separate check-in in NRT on the day of travel.
