Question Passport stamps from countries that don't exist?

I was just in northern Nicosia (Cyprus) the other day and in entering the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus, I was given a visa and entry/exit stamps on a piece of paper which was inserted in my passport. Turkey is the only country that recognizes the TRNC, so in international terms, the TRNC doesn't really exist. (Not making a political statement, just commenting on international recognition.)

I'm wondering if there are other such cases that FTers know of.

I'm not asking about countries that no longer exist (eg. East Germany, Czechoslovakia), but ones that are giving out visas & stamps (and thereby acting like a state) but aren't recognized by the international community.

Palestinian Territories perhaps?
