your route may depend on certain variables.

if there is more than one person in your car, take the 105 E to the 110 N. the carpool lanes will take you all the way to adams, then to figueroa north, and you can turn right wherever is best to get to grand.

even if you're not carpooling, the 105 E / 110 N is the most direct route, but 110 N can be a pain during rush hours. an alternative is to take the 405 N to la cienega, and go up to the 10 E and exit grand just after the 110.

distrust anyone who tells you to take the 405 N to the 10 E.

am 1070 gives traffic reports on the 5's. am 980 gives reports every 10 minutes when it's not baseball season (which it is now).
