Definitely #1 for me. Just three people doing this can easily delay a flight by 10 minutes. Those are a nasty 10 extra minutes for the passengers waiting in the aisle or jetway with their stuff, kids, etc.
I do wish the FA would be more aggressive about getting people to duck in to the row while they get settled.
...the overhead is not perpendicular (thus you must bow your back) to someone tucked into a row, but is when standing in the aisle. I really could not care that you are delayed an extra 15 seconds while I lift my rollaway and my laptop into the overhead. My back is a hell of alot more important than your 15 seconds of time.
Otherwise I agree with most of these complaints.
