Thanks for the good advice. When I told my wife about American cancelling the flight she asked what could we possibly do. I knew that after having read posts on FlyerTalk for all these many months that I would get good advice and information.

A couple of follow up questions:
When will they officially cancel the flights. I thought they were stopping service in October but any estimate on when the will pull the future flights?

When is Aer Lingus leaving One World?

I will call this weekend and see what reservations has to say.
