That was my experience when I booked 3 tix yesterday from DTW to PBI for November. I tried to book with ECVs online but it would not take.
Then I called NW and of the 7 ECVs we tried only 3 were valid.
All others showed "in-use".
In any case, since I was using ECVs the agent said they had to be booked individually with the $10 call center cost charged for each reservation. Kinda a rip I think since it's only one call, but hey, I saved $50 per ticket
($193.30 after discount) so I'm certainly not complaining. I think it's a great deal. Also have tix to BRU in September for $527 RT which is a great deal as well IMO.
Now, if they only keep flying through November...
