I spoke to asiana this morning. I was told that I cannot use united miles to upgrade asiana flight. I hope she is wrong. The following clearly says that we can upgrade on asiana using united miles:

Also my ticket was blocked on Q class. Seems like it has to be on M class. I will have to talk to my agent and see the price difference. What if I booked on M class, and dont get upgrade .. have to loose money ?

Also no one commented about food in China Airlines. is it alright when compared to asiana?
