Hey all.....

I recently made 1P, my first time having status on UA.

I just got my card and package in the mail, and I have a question about the validity period...

On the letter in the package (dated July 2006) it says "Please use the attached membership card with the Star Alliance logo to enjoy exclusive benefits reserved for Elite members on United, United Express, Ted and any Star Alliance carrier through February 2008."

Also, it is printed on the card Valid thru February 2008.

However on the back of the "Benefits Guide," it says "Your current Premier Executive benefits will be valid through the end of February 2007."

I assume I have status until Feb 28, 2008, and need to fly 50k EQM in 2007 to requalify for 2008, and that it says valid until 2007 in the Benefits guide just cuz it happens to be the "2006" Benefits guide, and they'll send another one in early 2007 which will say valid until 2008? Am I right here? I would assume what's printed on the card and in the somewhat-personalized letter is what counts...... any input on this to help a new 1P flyer
