Better, his mom was the legislative aide or some such thing to a state official So when she got the call about what happened she was, understandably, upset. Well she called the department to file a complaint on his behalf but they would have none of it, had to be the person involved so they told her to pound sand. A totally different story when her boss called! Yes, sir. Right away, sir. We'll look into it, sir. He wound up getting a formal apology signed by the officer and his commander. I think the officer got a reprimand in his file for some procedural violations but that was about it. No lawsuit or anything like that.
