I agree and my first impression is that there really isn't any downside to this. I'm sure someone will correct me on that statement but the deeper CO and NW are involved with DL, the easier it will be to score upgrades, award tickets, MQM's, etc.
The only ST member I fly on a regular basis is AM and I'm basing my reaction on the favorable treatment I've received from them. I'm sure others may have a different take on the ST members, particularly AF.
