You are making me wish I had time to get myself to these places!! I have driven by all of them so many times, and never stopped.

I should also add that the people who own the Sooke Harbour House are great. I haven't had much personal contact with them, but they very active in the local community. Their head chef was on the local talk radio station last week offering free cuttings from his kitchen garden, and for years the local high school would have the graduation dinner at the SHH (and may still). Sooke was not a high income neighbourhood when my friends graduated, and they gave the students a *great* rate considering how highly rated their restaurant is.
