I too no longer get my free CRC - I had 5 months left from my paid membership of 4 years ago.
I called DL and was told that they would be extending my CRC automatically - I asked that they check on it - after waiting for for a while, the agent came back and said she was glad she checked on it as she had to ask them to print up a new card - I wasn't so automatic after all.
