Yeah, couldn't find anything which worked with my connections. I wanted a direct flight from NRT-BKK as well.
On topic to this thread though: I also did a J award NRT-SIN-DPS on SQ last year, and paid next to no taxes (I think about $30 CAD a ticket) And no fees or taxes were collected ex-NRT. I'm a firm believer that front cabin intra-asian awards are the way to go! ^
