I've always been happy with the Sheraton Frankfurt. It's connected via a walkway to the terminal which is extremely convenient for a morning flight. The rooms are very nice. And the German food is good in the Taverne restaurant.

I will be doing an over night layover in FRA (FCO-FRA-ORD-LAX-OXR) on Jan 6/7 2007 and will be travelling with a companion. She speaks German (I manage the Italian! ).

We arrive around 7 pm and leave (as of now -- the the schedule will most certainly change ) at 8:10 am. When I pass through FRA I usually go to the RCC but this time it for a night. Are there any good, but reasonble hotels in the area, even close to the airport, that one can recommend? It would be nice to have a decent dinner as well.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.
