Although it doesn't really help with the congestion, I like the way they do it at some stations in Japan... They have the little handheld flip-board signs that say "Now boarding UGS/F" "Now boarding 1K/C" etc... They seem to do a fairly descent job of cutting down on the early boarding attempts.

Should be interesting to see if the second line helps out! My guess is that people will still not like it very much... Seems that the problem of priority boarding isn't so much a "is it happening" so much as a "they lump us all together" issue. This doesn't help that. Congestion wise, now, there will be two big lines.. still going to be a headache.
