When I first looked at the trip (one week out) it was as you quoted. By the time I confirmed my trip it was three days out and had gone to $1,350 all on DL. But four of the six legs were going to be RJ's and the schedule did not work as well as the one I booked.

With my current feelings towards DL I choose to book US to get the four legs toward CP, and like I said, I will not give DL the business unless I have to. I still wound up on RJ's three out of the six legs, but I got 100% qualification credit on all my legs including DL (B class) and flew first class in three of them.

You are correct about making PLT on DL if I flew them on most of my trips. But then I ask myself what is the point in giving them all that business when they really don't seem to care whether they treat their elites well

The real point of my post however was to point out that many of us do in fact spend in excess of $50,000 a year and do expect something along the lines of a thank you or some indication of appreciation from those we spend it with. My points were in no way directed at you!
