I churn cards with regularity and this is the first time I have gotten this song and dance. I know that United has this as part of their terms but have never run into this with Marriott. In fact they have been the easiest to open and close.
I did not close the bussiness card but did the personal one just to test if I realy would lose my points.
anyone else experencing this of late?
Both United & Marriott's cards are issued by Chase...sounds like it's a JPM policy...FYI I know US Bank has the same policy for their NWA card's
