My field is Purchasing/Supply chain. Specifically, I focus on sourcing components, assemblies and finished goods to LCR suppliers (Low Cost Region) in order to bolster competitiveness of domestic final value add and reduce total landed costs to acquire raw materials for production of discrete manufactured items.

Also well qualified for manufacturing operations, product engineering, or program management. I've done everything in a manufacturing organization except Marketing, Accounting & Finance. Manufacturing, Engineering, HR, Supply Chain, Technical Sales - all been there, done that in my career path. Have worked in automotive, durable consumer products, white goods appliances, lawn & garden appliances, & institutional plumbing fixtures.

Most recently, I *was* a Group VP with responsiblity for Purchasing & Supplier Quality for our company's operations in USA, Germany, France, plus expansion efforts in Hungary & China. I have lots of experience dealing with Asians of all stripes, and Eastern Europe. Some India. Not much South/Central America.
