Just wanted to add my 2 bits worth (because I could find very little information on the Westin when I was researching MEL hotels):

Ditto for me. Loved the room, the service and the location. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Avoid the Allegro restaurant for dinner - overpriced, poorly prepared food(e.g. hopelessly overcooked fish) and totally apathetic service. Breakfasts were very good there though.

Edited to add: This was my second *wood hotel stay. The other was in Edinburgh. So far it's been 2 out of 2! ^ ^
