Yes, but the UA flight wasn't cancelled. It was just oversold, and I volunteered to be bumped.
I was going to call or e-mail, but checking for addresses on UAL.COM, it said to write or fax with copies of all boarding passes, tickets, etc. Did that. Will report later on result.
