Not quite LH, but thought of mentioning it anyway: Checked in online for BRU-LHR-BRU on BD yesterday. The seat next to mine showed as occupied. Actually, it was the only one shown as occupied in the business class cabin. So seat blocking for *G seems to work for BD.
