AA's 767 J seat is the narrowest premium class seat in their fleet. It is slightly narrower than the narrow F MD-80 seats and for 2 average or larger size pax sitting together, it is hard not to bump elbows and shoulders over the narrow divider armrest/table.
The seat recline and leg rest are not electronic and it is way too easy to pull the power cord for the personal DVD player out of the outlet and having to restart the DVD and find your place again-DAMN! Did it again!
Both lavs are on the left side of the cabin-those sitting on the right side must cross over either by the bulkhead center seats if the flight has 2 or more J seats vacant, or on the mostly full flights, by cutting through the galley while the F/A's try to do the service.
AA is alllegedly finally bringing metal utensils back to international premium cabins, so maybe you would not have to eat you sundae with a plastic spoon that snaps in half in firm ice cream.
If I were not fully vested in AAdvantage and unwilling to forfeit my 100% mileage bonus with all AA credited flights, I'd personally love to try CO BusinessFirst.
