this also rarely happens to me on Delta. However.... on a flight from FLL-ATL 3 weeks ago, the lead FA was downright nasty. SHe threatened to call Security when we landed because I wanted to go the the bathroom near the cockpit rather than in the back of the plane. She told me to sit down and not get up the rest of the flight. I was sitting in 1E. The seat belt light was off and the pilots were not planning to come out of the cockpit. It was strictly a control issue.
I spoke to another First Class FA who stated that this was the third day of a three day trip and that this was the third leg out of four. They were MIA based. Apparently, the other FA also had been having difficulty with this individual the entire three day trip.
I asked the offensive FA for her name and ID # and sent a letter to Customer Care. I am waiting for a response.
I agree that it is few and far between that the Delta FA are not the best in the industry. I guess people are people and have good days/bad days. That is not the passengers' problem, howver. Even if I don't feel up to par, I "put on a good show" when I am working. The FA should do the same.
