As long as you're on a through single ticket, you should be alright. There is a special line for connecting passengers at T2, and your bags should be at a special luggage carousel at T2 once you've made the connection by bus. AC also has staff calling out flights that are close to departure to fast track any stragglers through preclearance and security.
